Baltimore Delivery Driver Wins $50K with Help from Lucky Charm

BALTIMORE, Md. – A Baltimore woman credits her mother’s incredible luck for a recent $50,000 win on a Money Rush scratch-off ticket. The pair, who have long relied on the mother’s instincts when it comes to games and contests, took home their latest Lottery prize last week.

The delivery service employee shared that her mother has always had a winning touch, and for years, they’ve followed a specific rule for their lottery play—only buying tickets when it “feels right.” Last Friday, after a call from her mother, they visited Sam’s Lobby Shop in Baltimore to try their luck. Among the tickets selected was the $10 Money Rush game.

After scratching the ticket, the woman wasn’t certain she had won, but her mother confirmed the $50,000 prize with a smile. “We just won $50,000,” she told her daughter.

The Money Rush scratch-off, which debuted in July, still has six top prizes of $100,000 and six $50,000 second-tier prizes remaining. The winning ticket was purchased at Sam’s Lobby Shop, located at 10 N. Calvert Street in Baltimore.
