New Jersey’s Barnegat. In front of their loved ones, the Barnegat Township Police Department formally welcomed Patrolman Kevin Wagner and Patrolman Evan Sands as two new officers this morning during a swearing-in ceremony.
Currently residing in Barnegat, Patrolman Wagner joins the agency with 13 years of law enforcement experience. On his resume, he lists his roles as a detective, firearms instructor, SWAT team member, field training officer, and instructor of less lethal weapons.
With just over a year of police service, Barnegat native Patrolman Sands joins the department. He has a career in law enforcement, is a qualified personal trainer, and has shown a great commitment to helping his community.
The Barnegat Police Department released a statement saying, “We are very happy to have these committed officers join our department.” They also thanked the Township Committee for their continued assistance.
