Body found on road in White Oak in apparent dirt bike crash

White Oak, Pennsylvania.Allegheny County police are investigating a dirt bike crash that claimed a man’s life early Monday morning in the 1200 block of Long Run Road.

At 1:18 a.m., Allegheny County 9-1-1 was called to report someone lying in the road. An adult male victim was found dead at the location when first responders got there.

According to the Collision Reconstruction and Homicide Unit’s preliminary investigation, the man struck a guard rail while riding a street-legal dirt bike.

The incident is being investigated by county detectives. The victim’s identity was still unknown as of Monday, and no other cars were mentioned as being involved.
