Boston police seek suspect in fatal Roxbury hit-and-run

Boston, Massachusetts.A 20-year-old woman was killed and another was hurt in a hit-and-run on Washington Street in Roxbury on Saturday night; police are looking into the incident.

When District D-4 officers arrived on the scene at around 8:29 p.m., they found two victims: a 23-year-old woman with minor injuries and a 20-year-old woman with potentially fatal injuries. After being taken to a nearby hospital, the 20-year-old victim was eventually declared deceased.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Detectives and Fatal Accident Reconstruction Team are looking for the suspect car as part of their ongoing investigation into the event. The car is a dark-colored Mercedes compact SUV from 2021–2023, lacking its right-side mirror, and having damage to the front grille and front light.

Anyone with information on the car or the event is being asked to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470, according to the authorities.
