Brick Cops Chicken Out at Local Community Event

New Jersey’s Brick Township.At the Chick-fil-A community engagement event on Tuesday, officers from the Brick Township Police Department engaged with locals by hosting a Chicken with a Cop event.

Officers and members of the public were able to have casual talks during the event. Officers assisted with food service throughout the event by working behind the counter with Chick-fil-A employees.

The department posted on social media, saying, “We had the opportunity to connect with residents in a relaxed and welcoming setting.”

Chick-fil-A was thanked by the police department for organizing the event and for its ongoing support of community outreach initiatives.

Partnerships between the community and the police are strengthened.

Officers interacting with workers and families during the visit were captured in event photos. The agency underlined how crucial these events are to fostering goodwill among the general population.

At a nearby Chick-fil-A, Brick Township officers went behind the counter to serve food and foster neighborhood relationships.
