Bronx shooting leaves 25-year-old man dead, no arrests made




New York’s Bronx. According to authorities, a 25-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in the Wakefield neighborhood of the Bronx.

At at 10:35 p.m., officers were called to 911 in the area of 689 East 233rd Street. When they arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his back.

The individual was taken by emergency medical services to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was declared deceased. The victim’s identify is being kept secret by the authorities until his family has been informed.

Detectives are still trying to figure out what happened before the shooting, and no one has been taken into custody.
