Brooklyn’s One Stop Food Center sells $150K Powerball ticket

Brooklyn, New York The New York Lottery said that one lucky player in the Nov. 23 Powerball drawing won a $150,000 payout from a Powerplay ticket sold in Brooklyn.

A ticket that matched four numbers plus the Power Ball was bought at One Stop Food Center, 1076 New York Avenue. The Powerplay option tripled the $50,000 third prize.

The Powerplay feature allows players to multiply non-jackpot winnings, and Powerball numbers are selected three times a week at 10:59 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The Nov. 23 drawing’s winning numbers have not yet led to a reward being claimed.

Officials from the lottery advise participants to check their tickets and use their winnings within a year of the drawing date.
