After leading authorities on a high-speed pursuit in Utah County, a lady was eventually charged with 32 separate offenses.
According to court records, authorities in Utah County suspected 37-year-old Danielle Sara Deloss of drunk driving while she was traveling south on Interstate 15.
According to investigators, Deloss allegedly continued driving while officers from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office attempted to pull him over for a traffic stop.
Authorities stated that as the patrol car drew up behind Deloss’s vehicle, the officer sitting in the passenger seat signaled to Deloss to stop. She allegedly maintained eye contact with the cop while continuing to drive.
Deloss allegedly attempted to “ram the passenger side” of the patrol car after attempting a slow-down technique by dragging it in front of her. Court filings state that she then accelerated her automobile.
The suspect, according to the records, reached speeds of up to 112 mph while swerving in and out of traffic.
According to the authorities, Deloss came to a complete stop around three-quarters of a mile after a trooper from the Utah Highway Patrol successfully spiked her vehicle. She was forcibly removed from the vehicle, according to the records.
Officers allegedly discovered equipment used to ingest methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana after removing Deloss from the automobile. They also located numerous open beer and liquor containers, as well as a THC e-vape. The absence of a prescription led deputies to discover six buprenorphine strips, one a dextroamphetamine pill, and Tramadol pills.
