Car hits tree and overturns in Loudoun County, leaving two dead

Loudon County, Virginia When a car hit a tree and flipped in Chantilly early Friday morning, two individuals were killed and two others were injured, according to authorities.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred at the intersection of Tall Cedars Parkway and Loudoun County Parkway at approximately 12:30 in the morning. Preliminary investigations reveal that a 2023 Ford Mustang traveling east went off the road, struck a tree, and turned over.

At the site, two male passengers were declared deceased. As of Friday morning, it was unclear the driver’s and a female passenger’s conditions after they were taken to the hospital with injuries.

All lanes on Tall Cedars Parkway had to be closed for several hours overnight due to the collision. The road was reopened by officials just after 7:30 a.m.

Deputies are still investigating the event to find out what caused the automobile to go off the road.
