Carjacking Reported in Greenbelt


GREENBELT, Md. — A carjacking on Mandan Road left a victim injured but not critically, the Greenbelt Police Department reported on Tuesday. The incident took place in the 7900 block, where the victim was assaulted by a group of three to four individuals.

According to the police, the suspects were described as Black males wearing medical masks. One of them was armed with a firearm. The group reportedly fled the scene with a stolen Toyota Camry.

Authorities confirmed that the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening. No further details on the condition of the victim or the exact nature of the injuries were released.
