Check Your Tickets Because a Cash 4 Life Winner Was sold in Lanham

LANHAM, Maryland.According to state lottery officials, a player from Lanham, Maryland, won the top Cash4Life reward, which is $1,000 each week for life, after the June 18 drawing.

As of Monday morning, the winner, who has not yet stepped forward, can choose to receive a lump amount of $1 million or $1,000 every week for the rest of their life. Within 182 days from the date of the drawing, the prize must be claimed.

In other recent wins, Mega Millions players in Catonsville and Cheverly each won $20,000 as the jackpot grew to $326 million, while a Riverdale Powerball player claimed a $150,000 reward as the jackpot increased to $128 million.

The Maryland Lottery reports that six additional players in Capitol Heights, Hagerstown, Laurel, Glen Burnie (two), and Severna Park won rewards totaling $50,000 to $100,000 within the previous seven days.

Value-added winners throughout the state

The Maryland Lottery gave out around $31.2 million in prizes between June 16 and June 22, including 39 tickets valued at $10,000 or more. Prizes from a range of games, such as scratch-offs, draw games, and FAST PLAY, are included in that total.

Winners are reminded by lottery officials to sign the backs of their tickets and keep them in a safe place. Tickets for the draw game and FAST PLAY expire 182 days following the date of purchase or drawing, respectively.
