Two dozen more dogs were found living in the house after the sheriff’s office reported that several of the dogs were running loose.

The home itself was regarded as a chaotic and dangerous place, and these animals were discovered to be in unhygienic circumstances. LaVonne Hoff was tragically declared dead at the scene.

Unsettling information about the incident was uncovered by the investigation.

LaVonne Hoff, who had dementia and needed round-the-clock care, was allegedly abandoned by her daughter while she went on errands. The dogs housed inside the house assaulted her throughout this period.

Criminal charges were brought against Jessica Hoff after an autopsy revealed that LaVonne Hoff’s death was caused by a dog attack.

Authorities have charged Jessica Hoff with criminal negligence after her arrest on Friday. Given the circumstances surrounding her mother’s death, this charge bears significant legal ramifications.
