Columbus woman charged with murder in Deborah Court shooting




Columbus, OhioAccording to authorities on Wednesday, a 20-year-old woman has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of 24-year-old Darreion Alonzo Davis, who was shot and killed two days after suffering serious injuries in an incident on Deborah Court on November 18.

When police arrived on the scene in the 1900 block of Deborah Court, they discovered Davis wounded by a gunshot. He passed away from his wounds on November 20 after being taken to a hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Alise Schlaegel, the suspect, was first taken into custody on suspicion of felonious assault. After Davis passed away, the charges were changed to murder.
