Crash brings down utility pole, closes Warminster Road in Upper Moreland

UPPER MORELAND, Pa. The Upper Moreland Police Department reports that a power pole was pulled down by a car crash Friday night, forcing Warminster Road to be closed in both directions between Chelsea and Byberry Roads.

Police have warned that the road will be closed for several hours as workers clear the pole and make the area safe again. The event happened at approximately 7:45 p.m.

About the collision and if anyone was hurt, no information has been made public. Until the situation is cleared, drivers are asked to stay away from the area and use other routes.
