New Jersey’s Freehold Township.The Freehold Township Police Department reports that Jackson Mills Road is closed in both directions from Georgia Road to Farmingdale Road due to a car collision involving a downed electrical pole and wires.
Authorities blocked the road as workers cleared the site and repaired the damaged electric infrastructure after the incident was reported Sunday morning.
Drivers are being encouraged to take other routes and stay away from the area. As of right now, neither the cause of the collision nor any information regarding injuries have been made public.
