D.C. Police hunt for two suspects after shootout


WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are searching for two suspects and their vehicles involved in a shooting that occurred after a verbal altercation in Southeast D.C. over the weekend.

On October 19, at around 5:10 p.m., the suspects engaged in a dispute in the 2500 block of Marion Barry Avenue, Southeast. During the argument, both suspects brandished firearms and exchanged gunfire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as both suspects fled the scene.

The first suspect was driving a dark-colored Chevrolet with Maryland license plate 4EH6136, while the second suspect was in a red Nissan Altima with D.C. tags GU6960. Surveillance cameras captured both individuals and their vehicles, with images available for public viewing.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in this incident.
