Baltimore, Maryland.After an autopsy revealed blunt force trauma as the cause of death, the Prince George’s County Police Department declared that the September death of a man discovered in a Bladensburg park was a homicide.
On the morning of September 25, the victim, Ricardo Ramos Andrade, 55, of Colmar Manor, was found unconscious at a park in the 4600 block of Annapolis Road. At around 6:35 a.m., Maryland-National Capital Park Police officers arrived at the site and declared Ramos Andrade dead.
After completing its investigation, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner declared the death to be a homicide on November 22. The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department has taken up the case and is attempting to find and capture the person or people who are responsible.
Information that results in an arrest and indictment in the case might earn a reward of up to $25,000. Police advise anyone with information to call 301-516-2512 to speak with a detective from the Homicide Unit.
