With three festive events at parks around the country, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is kicking off the Christmas season with millions of lights, exhilarating rides, seasonal foods, and family-friendly entertainment. On a few times through January 2022, visitors can take advantage of the classic Holiday in the Park, the walk-through Holiday in the Park Lights, or the Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience.
The celebrations at Jackson, New Jersey’s Six Flags Great Adventure begin tonight with the grand opening of Holiday in the Park. With breathtaking light displays, festive music, fire pits for roasting mores, and top-notch attractions, the event turns the park into a glittering winter wonderland. The festival also includes photo ops with Christmas costumed characters and seasonal fare like roast turkey and fried gingerbread cookies.
Highlights of the Park Season Holiday in 2024 include:
- NEW: Treeditions This heartwarming spectacle will bring a family of musicians together to share their cherished holiday memories;
- NEW: The Jinglettes Singers will transport you to a winter wonderland through holiday favorites;
- Holiday Magic: A Celebration of the Season & A Holiday Wish List Every 30 minutes, experience the park s iconic five-story tree as it lights up with a dazzling light show;
- Candy Cane Crew Be amazed as skilled jugglers light up the holiday season, spreading joy with their spectacular performances;
- Rudolph s Regiment This beloved roaming symphony fills the park with festive tunes, keeping the holiday spirit alive;
- Jolly Light Show Stroll along a glowing pathway where trees dance in sync with festive holiday music;
- Storytime with Mrs. Claus Come gather as Mrs. Claus delights guests of all ages with cherished holiday tales;
- Photos with Santa Meet and take a photo with Santa through Dec. 23 perfect for capturing holiday memories; and
- Meet and Greets with Festive Friends Holiday queens, kings and princesses pose with guests throughout the park as they celebrate the season with holiday cheer.

Available at a few sites, including Six Flags New England and Six Flags Great America, Holiday in the Park Lights provides a more laid-back experience with miles of lit displays, live musical performances, and a few family attractions. In the meanwhile, guests may enjoy the warmth of their cars while taking in the millions of sparkling lights, holiday characters, and themed areas at parks like Six Flags Great Adventure’s Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience.
Seasonal Tastes & Dining Occasions
Guests can expect new delicacies and the flavors of the season:
- Granny s Holiday Feast Enjoy nostalgic comfort foods like glazed ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pies;
- Central Brewhouse Savor dishes such as stout pot roast and cheddar mac and cheese;
- Holiday Treats Spiked egg nog, holiday-inspired cocktails, peppermint fudge, seasonal beers and festive funnel cakes are just a few of the delicious seasonal treats available; and
- Holiday Fire Pits Gather around one of the fire pits to warm up with hot cocoa and roast s mores (weather permitting).
Coca-Cola and country music artist Brett Young have teamed up with Six Flags to host a holiday sweepstakes, which will only heighten the excitement. In conjunction with his new CD, Brett Young & Friends Sing the Christmas Classics, fans may enter to win a trip to see Young perform privately acoustic.
