Dover man arrested on felony drug charges after police search apartment


DOVER, Del. — Delaware State Police arrested a Dover man on felony drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at his apartment, authorities said. Samuel Seymour, 36, was taken into custody without incident on October 31 after a raid by the Kent County Drug Unit and the Kent County Governor’s Task Force at his residence on Webb Lane in Dover Estates.

The search warrant was the culmination of a five-month investigation into Seymour’s alleged involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics from the apartment. During the raid, detectives observed Seymour discarding drugs out of the apartment window, according to police.

A thorough search of the apartment and Seymour’s vehicle yielded approximately 862.56 grams of powder cocaine, 31.92 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, and $3,930 in suspected drug proceeds.


Seymour faces multiple felony charges related to drug distribution. Police have not disclosed his bail status or scheduled court appearance as of this time.
