The collision occurred close to the intersection of Piney Branch Road and New Hampshire Avenue at around 3:15 a.m., according to the Prince George’s County Police Department. According to preliminary investigations, the driver of a sedan lost control of the car and swerved off Piney Branch Road while it was heading east.
