According to police and reports, a group of young females attacked an elderly man on a Brooklyn subway platform early Monday. One of the attackers even used a scooter to hit the victim.

Around 2:10 a.m., five individuals began attacking the 76-year-old man, who was lying on a bench at the Rockaway Avenue subway station. The suspects punched and kicked him in the head.

According to authorities, one of the attackers on the northbound C line station swung her scooter at the man’s head in an allegedly unprovoked attack.

The suspects’ ages were listed as 16–20 by the authorities.

Five of the six young women, according to the police, were involved in the attack. Following this, they all made a break for it, leaving the station on foot. The person was transported to the hospital and is currently listed as stable.

One of the five suspects, shown on security footage riding a scooter on the subway platform, is wearing all black, according to the New York Police Department.

In an effort to apprehend the dangerous gang, authorities are putting up a reward of up to $3,500.
