Elderly man beaten in Brooklyn store after dispute, suspects flee

Brooklyn, New York. According to police, three unidentified people attacked a 68-year-old man during a fight at a Beverly Road store on Thursday night, seriously injuring him.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., the victim was in line at 2918 Beverly Road when one of the suspects shoved him, starting a verbal dispute. When the victim was repeatedly punched and kicked by the person and two other people, the situation became more heated.

After the attack, the attackers left the area on foot in an unidentified direction. The victim was taken by emergency medical services to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where his status is stable but serious.

While the investigation is ongoing, police have not yet made the suspects’ descriptions public.

Authorities are urging anyone with knowledge to come forward, but no arrests have been made.
