Fatal crash in Owings Mills claims life of 27-year-old driver

Mills, Owings, Md. A tragic collision on Owings Mills Boulevard close to Interstate 795 happened Wednesday morning, and Baltimore County police are looking into it.

A 2013 Ford Expedition had veered off the road and collided with a retaining wall when Franklin Precinct police arrived on the scene at around 10:30 a.m., according to the authorities.

Jamal Wright, 27, was the driver, and he was taken to a nearby hospital. Police said he was declared dead shortly after arriving.

The reason the car swerved off the road is yet unknown to investigators. The Baltimore County Police Crash Team detectives are still investigating the incident’s circumstances.
