FBI agent arrested for sexual assault in Gaithersburg, police seek additional victims

Gathersburg, Maryland.Montgomery County police said Tuesday that detectives are encouraging any more victims to come forward after an FBI federal agent was detained on many sexual assault charges after two women made the allegations.

Two counts of second-degree rape, four counts of fourth-degree sexual offense, and four counts of second-degree assault are among the allegations against Eduardo Valdivia, 40, of Gaithersburg. He is being jailed at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit for a bond hearing after being arrested on Monday, November 25.

Two women who claimed to have been raped inside Valdivia’s tattoo parlor, DC Fine Line Tattoos, which is situated in the 9800 block of Washingtonian Boulevard, are at the center of the accusations. According to both women, Exeter Models’ fictitious modeling possibilities were used to get them to the studio. Before they met Valdivia, who they knew as Lalo Brown, they thought they were speaking to a woman.

October 2024 saw the first victim come forward, and November 2024 saw a second victim disclose a similar incident. Lalo Brown was identified by investigators as Valdivia, and both ladies subsequently attested to his identity as their assailant.

The case is being handled by detectives from the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division, who think there might be more victims. We encourage anyone with information to call the division at 240-773-5400.
