TOWSON, Maryland.Following an attempted carjacking on Dulaney Valley Road on Saturday night, Baltimore County Police reported that they had arrested five teens.
According to police, the teenagers allegedly tried to carjack a car at around 8 p.m. in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road. The culprits were swiftly captured by Towson patrol officers with the help of investigators from the Baltimore County Police Carjacking Team.
The teenagers were named by the police as a 13-year-old boy, two 15-year-old boys, a 16-year-old boy, and a 17-year-old girl. Four of the five suspects, investigators found, are also connected to an incident that was claimed to have occurred in the same vicinity on the evening of November 29.
Both incidents’ circumstances are still being looked into. Investigators are asking anyone who knows more to call them at 410-887-2277.
Police have stepped up patrols in the Towson region in reaction to the incidents, and they want to keep a high level of law enforcement presence during the holiday season.
