Germantown Family Ready for Theme Park After $50K Win

Germanytown, Maryland. The fourth of eight top-tier prizes won in the Mosaic Money scratch-off game thus far was claimed by a Germantown woman who came to the Maryland Lottery office in Baltimore on Thursday to claim a $50,000 prize.

The $5 Mosaic Money ticket, which debuted in March, has a vibrant design with white, pale pink, and turquoise patterns that is reminiscent of the Mediterranean. Town Center Sunoco, 19738 Germantown Road, is where the winner bought her fortunate ticket and will get a $500 extra for selling it.

The woman informed lottery officials that she, her husband, and their two kids would use the money to help pay for a trip to Six Flags. She stated that while they have not yet made a decision regarding the remaining portion of the award, it is comforting to have additional money accessible for the kids.

Four of the first eight $50,000 top prizes, five $5,000 prizes, twenty-five $1,000 prizes, and tens of thousands of smaller rewards, ranging from $5 to $500, are still in circulation as of Friday.

Large prizes are still up for grabs statewide.

Players are reminded that Mosaic Money tickets will be available for purchase until the game’s official conclusion or until all top prizes have been claimed.

It is recommended that winners sign the back of their tickets right away and get in touch with the Maryland Lottery to claim their winnings.
