On Monday, Megyn Kelly criticized Morning Joe presenters Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for changing their minds about President-elect Donald Trump.
Following numerous comparisons of Trump to Adolf Hitler and accusations that he would be a fascist dictator by the hosts and a few of their guests, Scarborough and Brzezinskian claimed Monday that they had met Trump in person for the first time in a number of years at Mar-a-Lago. The host of The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM started out by criticizing the MSNBC anchors for their claimed lack of sincerity and pointing out how they have fueled worries of a second Trump presidency.
Kelly stated, “That’s where we’re starting today with the utterly absurd duo on the MSNBC morning show, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.” How long have they been telling us that he is a fascist, Hitler-like, an existential menace, and that women will perish if he is elected? They have completely changed their ways. As their ratings fluctuate, they have completely changed their ways.
According to Kelly, I looked for a suitable response and drew on my ten years of experience as a litigator in addition to my twenty years as a journalist. I believe I have the ideal wording. Fuck yourselves. You scumbags of fake journalists, go fuck yourselves. Glenn, what a ridiculous farce it was. Which was the dishonest one? Is he Hitler, or are we going to confront the establishment and find a way to communicate and collaborate with Donald Trump? What was the falsehood?
Glenn Greenwald, an independent journalist and guest, then jumped in to say that the MSNBC hosts are among the most pitiful and humiliated duos in corporate media.
This isn’t exaggerated. I’ve really thought about this. I’ve completed ranks. According to Greenwald, Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough are the most pitiful and degraded individuals on corporate media. I am aware that there are many deserving candidates for the title. Therefore, I wouldn’t think it’s unreasonable if other people have someone they want to rank first.

But the thing about them is, unlike other people in the media who have been completely unhinged about Trump being Hitler, Trump being in bed with Putin, the Steel [Dossier], all of that, those people actually believe it. They’re really that crazy. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski don t believe in anything other than their own career and their own ratings, Greenwald added.
Kelly then played a series of clips pointing out how Scarborough and Brzezinski had been supporters of Trump during his first campaign. However, they later turned against the former president after he announced Scarborough would not be his running mate.
These two, yes, worked day and night to try to get Trump the nomination back in 15, 16. They embarrassed themselves and sacrificed any pretense of journalistic ethics in doing it. It was true bootlicking, Kelly said.
They re so disgusting. OK, and then what happened was Joe Scarborough found out he was not going to be the vice presidential running mate, Kelly said. He had been rejected for that position and they turned. They turned on Trump because access to power is everything to that small little man.
The twohoststold their viewers that they had requested to meet with Trump following concerns and pushback from Democrats regarding a handful of his Cabinet picks. The three discussed domestic issues including abortion, illegal immigration and the use of institutions against political opponents, noting there was also an expressed interest to restart communications.
