Gunfire on East Capitol Street as police hunt for armed suspects

Washington, D.C. The public is being asked to assist police in identifying four suspects they believe are involved in a gunshot that happened Friday morning in the Northeast in the 1700 block of East Capitol Street.

The suspects are characterized as Black males with a weapon and dark-colored, puffy goose coats. When last spotted, they were driving a gray 2018 Nissan Rogue with the DC license plate GC5721. One of the suspects is said to have dreadlocks and a pale complexion.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that results in the arrest and conviction of the culprits.
