Washington, DC Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that injured a man in Southeast Washington, DC, late last month. They are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the person seen on security tape.
The shooting took place in the 2400 block of Elvans Road SE on December 28 at around 3:45 a.m. Officers on the scene discovered a male adult with gunshot wounds. The person had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to text tips to 50411 or call (202) 727-9099, according to the police. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by the Metropolitan Police Department for information that results in an arrest and indictment.
