Gunshots on Banner Lane prompt search for three suspects

Washington, D.C. Authorities said Friday that they have searched for three suspects who were seen on security tape after gunfire broke out Thursday afternoon in the unit block of Banner Lane, Northwest.

When officers arrived on the location of gunshot reports at around 1:58 p.m., they found evidence of a handgun discharge. The investigation turned up no victims.

As part of the ongoing effort to identify those responsible, images of the suspects from security footage have been made public.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by the Metropolitan Police Department for information that results in the offenders’ arrest and conviction.
