Hit-and-Run Incident Leaves Man Critically Injured


Utica, NY – Utica Police and Fire units responded to a hit-and-run accident involving a car and pedestrian early Sunday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of South St and Genesee St around 2:30 AM.

Upon their arrival, responders found an injured male lying on the road with multiple injuries. The victim was taken to Wynn Hospital and later transferred to a Syracuse hospital due to the severity of his injuries. He remains in critical condition; updates on his status will be given as available.
