Hyde Park Shooting Incident Results in Arrest

Boston, MA – Officers responded to a report of shots fired on Garfield Avenue in Hyde Park at 1:14 PM on Friday. Upon arrival, they found Jose Alberto Feliz, 28, of Hyde Park, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Feliz was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested Isaiah Trevon Smith, 28, also of Hyde Park, on the scene. Smith faces charges of murder and various firearms offenses. He is scheduled to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on Tuesday morning.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is continuing its investigation into this incident. They urge anyone with information to contact the unit at 617-343-4470.
