Former President Donald Trump secured the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the presidency early Wednesday morning, while Republicans have picked up four seats in the Senate and are favored to hold the House of Representatives as of Friday afternoon. Faulkner asked Brad Howard, founder of lobbying firm Corcoran Street Group, if Democrats were “losing with grace.”

“I think the vice president certainly lost with grace,” Howard claimed. “That speech was an incredible speech, and I think it reminded folks that even though she is conceding this fight, which she conceded, which is the appropriate thing to do, we won’t concede this fight. I think this fight is for our vision for America that we believe—”
“Okay, we don’t need her talking points, Brad, but I would love an answer to the question,” Faulkner responded. “She took the high road, is what you are saying. They didn’t follow her on it. What’s going on inside your party?”
Harris conceded the election in a Wednesday afternoon speech at Howard University.
“There’s a lot of soul searching going on and everyone looking to blame. Now isn’t the time to blame, now is the time to figure out what went wrong,” Howard said. “It is not voters’ responsibility to come to us, it’s our responsibility to go to them and voters do not like where we are or where we’re going and so we have to fix that. There is no singular problem why we lost. When you lose every sub-demographic possible that is a major, major problem … It is just an across-the-board problem, and we have to fix it.”
“It looks like in some cases in your party, blaming the voters is on the table and as you pointed out, don’t blame them, interview them,” Faulkner responded.
