As the car stops inside the shop, debris is seen flying in all directions in the footage. No workers were hurt in the incident, despite the damage.

Temporary Closure and Community Support

Boba Bird thanked the community for their prompt assistance in a Facebook post that included the CCTV footage.

The message said, “We’re thrilled that no workers were hurt this morning and are incredibly grateful for the community’s love and support so far.”

The store said that it will be closed for the foreseeable future while cleanup and repairs are being made due to the severity of the damage.

Owner s Emotional Reaction

Boba Bird’s owner, Peter Phan, called the damage “devastating.”

“I’ve always wanted to open my own small store,” Phan remarked. I’m completely devastated and want to cry, but I’m unable to do so.

Phan is determined to go on in spite of his sadness.

Phan and his staff will focus on fixing the damage and reopening the store for the time being. Local clients have shown their support by pledging to come back as soon as the store reopens.
