Around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, the horrific event took place at the Fleet Farm shop in Carver, which is situated in the west metro area. The criminal complaint states that the adolescent victim had a severe neck laceration that resulted in a substantial loss of blood. She was critically injured and momentarily unconscious due to the two to three-inch wound.
After the attack, witnesses claimed to have heard the victim yell, “He just stabbed me.” She was able to tell authorities that she did not know her attacker despite her terrible state.

Hudson allegedly fled the store on foot after the savage assault and then took off in his SUV. He was later captured by police in Chanhassen and is currently being held at the Carver County Jail.

Hudson allegedly denied using a lethal weapon in unsolicited remarks while incarcerated. He claimed in the complaint, “I just hit someone with something; I didn’t stab anyone, and I don’t have any guns or anything like that.”

At the time of the event, Hudson was reportedly wanted by federal police for escaping from a residential re-entry center in 2020. Due to a previous conviction for unlawfully having a firearm on a college campus as a felon, he was on supervised release.
