Indiana Man Arrested for Alleged Death Threats Against Elon Musk, on X

Clarksville, Indiana A guy from southern Indiana was taken into custody by police on Tuesday after he allegedly made threats against Elon Musk on X that may have killed him.

Texas officials reported threats posted on X by an account associated with 28-year-old David Allen June Cherry to Indiana State Police (ISP). Cherry was apprehended without incident after detectives followed him to Clarksville. He was taken by officers to be questioned at the Sellersburg Post.

ISP was able to secure a search warrant for Cherry’s Palmyra home. Investigators found a handgun, ammunition, a bulletproof vest, and an AR-15-style rifle.

Cherry is charged with intimidation, a Level 5 crime. He is still being held without bond at the Harrison County Jail.

According to ISP, all subjects are assumed innocent unless and until they are found guilty in court.
