Indiantown deputies capture armed robbery suspect outside Juicy’s Nightclub after high-speed chase

INDIANTOWN, Fla. — A late-night stop at Juicy’s Nightclub took an unexpected turn for 25-year-old Gustavo Adolfo Alvarado Mireles, who was wanted for armed burglary and other charges. Martin County deputies tracked Mireles down as he sat outside the popular club, parked in his black Jaguar, unaware that his night was about to end behind bars.

Deputies spotted the suspect’s car outside Juicy’s and moved in. But instead of cooperating, Mireles took off at high speed, leading deputies on a brief but intense chase through the streets of Indiantown. The pursuit came to a dramatic end when Mireles lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a light pole. Even then, he attempted to flee on foot, but deputies quickly apprehended him.

Mireles now faces a list of charges in Martin County, including grand theft of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding, drug possession, and possessing the ID of another person. He also has outstanding warrants in Okeechobee for armed burglary and shooting into a dwelling.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office praised the quick actions of Indiantown deputies. “This was a takedown where the juice was well worth the squeeze,” the department noted, underscoring the successful capture of a dangerous fugitive.
