Juvenile Attacked, Robbed Near Springhill Lake Elementary in Greenbelt

The Greenbelt Police Department reports that three suspects robbed and abused a kid in the vicinity of Springhill Lake Elementary School on Wednesday afternoon.

Three young boys approached and attacked the victim at approximately 4:30 p.m., according to police reports. Before leaving the scene, the suspects took the victim’s red backpack.

One suspect was described by authorities as a Hispanic man with a black Nike mask and all-black apparel. The other two suspects’ descriptions are yet unknown.

About an hour after the occurrence, at 5:31 p.m., the crime was reported to the police. Officers are looking into the matter and trying to find the suspects.

The Greenbelt Police Department is asking anyone with information to get in touch.
