Middleton, Pennsylvania. The yearly Kanan’s Toy Run, which raised thousands of dollars, hundreds of gifts, and a warehouse full of bikes and scooters for underprivileged kids, once again brought holiday pleasure to Middletown Township.
The philanthropic event, which was planned by the Wagner family in collaboration with the Three 6 Nine Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, inspired locals to contribute and take part in a massive endeavor to make the holidays more joyful for families in the area. A startling quantity of bicycles and scooters, many of which arrived disassembled, were among the load.
Volunteers swiftly stepped forward to help when faced with the difficult process of assembly. Stars and Stripes mechanics were in charge of assembling the bikes and scooters, going so far as to test drive them to make sure they were operational.
In a statement, the Middletown Township Police Department praised the community’s participation and said, “Thanks to everyone involved in this effort there will be LOTS of happy kids this holiday season.”
The success of the event is yet another turning point in the township’s continuous attempts to cheer up local families and kids over the holidays.
