New Jersey’s Toms River.Paola I. Cabrera-Delapaz, 36, has been taken into custody by authorities on suspicion of being the head of a retail theft organization. According to Ocean County records, Cabrera-Delapaz is being jailed without bond and is charged with several offenses, including second-degree leader of an organized retail theft operation.
Cabrera-Delapaz is still being held after being arrested on January 18, 2025. She faces charges of running a retail theft operation, possessing anti-shoplifting device tools, and shoplifting by concealment.
In addition to shoplifting, according to court documents, they also had tools that are frequently used to get over store security systems and plan larger thefts.
