Liberty County, TX – A tragic shooting outside the Alas Locos bar in Liberty County has left one person dead and five others injured, with the suspect still on the run. The incident, described by officials as a drive-by shooting, occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 7, 2025.

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking help from the public to identify and locate the suspect, who was reportedly seen drinking beer at the bar just 30 minutes before the shooting took place.

A Deadly Night at Alas Locos Bar

The shooting was reported at approximately 2:30 a.m. outside Alas Locos bar, located on County Road 5018. According to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

  • Two victims were critically injured and transported via air ambulance to hospitals in Houston.
  • Three other victims were taken by ground ambulances with non life-threatening injuries.

While investigators have confirmed the shooting was a drive-by attack, authorities have not yet disclosed what provoked the violent event.
