New Jersey’s Staford.Authorities say a man from Forked River was detained earlier this month for allegedly stealing 43 items from a Stafford grocery in two months.
According to a statement last week, Stafford police arrested the 28-year-old suspect about 10 p.m. on January 9.
According to investigators, the individual committed several thefts from the ShopRite on Route 72 West in Manahawkin, stealing goods valued at about $1,793.
He was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River after being arrested, and according to the police, he will later appear in Ocean County Superior Court.
While the suspect awaits court procedures, authorities said the case is still being investigated. The man’s name was not disclosed by the police.
