Man Arrested in Child Luring Case in West New York




New Jersey’s West New York At 10:45 p.m. on November 19, West New York Police Department officers responded to an incident. In West New York, a man was seen trying to get an 11-year-old girl into a car close to 61st Street and Kennedy Boulevard. The girl was not hurt in the incident.

After a quick inquiry, 29-year-old Guy R. McCann II of North Bergen was taken into custody. He is accused of attempting to lure or entice a child and endangering the welfare of a child. As of right now, McCann is being held at the Hudson County Jail while the charges against him are still pending a verdict of guilt.
