GAITHERSBURG, Md. Kaloyan Dimov Stoev, 25, has been taken into custody by Montgomery County police in relation to the early Friday morning shooting deaths of two Rockville residents.
According to authorities, at 3:16 in the morning, a 1st District officer found the first victim, Marcell Jordan Hebron, 26, inside a white BMW that had obvious bullet holes near Shady Grove Road and Research Boulevard. At the scene, Hebron was declared deceased.
Officers discovered a second victim, Leilani Marroquin, 27, in the parking lot of 2 Research Court later that morning, at around 7:40 a.m. Shell casings were found nearby, and police said Marroquin seemed to have been shot.
Stoev was named as a suspect when investigators connected the two murders. Two guns were found when Stoev was taken into custody in Rockville on Friday at around noon, according to the police.
Stoev, whose address is still unknown, is accused of several felonies involving firearms and two charges of first-degree murder. The Montgomery County Central Processing Unit is holding him without bond.
