New York’s Harlem A police investigation into the violent encounter began Thursday afternoon when a 41-year-old man was fatally stabbed at an apartment in East Harlem.
At around 2:01 p.m., officers received a 911 call indicating that an assault was taking place at an apartment on East 121st Street. When police arrived, they found the man with several stab wounds to his torso.
The victim was taken in serious condition by emergency medical personnel to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, but he was declared dead not long after. As authorities attempt to inform the victim’s relatives, the victim’s identify has not yet been made public.
Authorities said the investigation is still ongoing and that no arrests have been made.
