NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident on a northbound 6 train earlier this week.
The incident occurred on Monday, November 11, 2024, at approximately 12:10 p.m. as the train approached the 86th Street subway station. According to police, a 36-year-old woman was seated on the train when an unidentified man forced his groin area into her face.
The suspect left the train at the 103rd Street station and fled on foot. Police say the victim was not injured during the incident.
Investigators have released images of the suspect and are urging anyone with information about the man’s identity or whereabouts to contact the NYPD. The case is being handled by the 19th Precinct and Transit District 4.
