Washington, D.C.Authorities in Northwest Washington, D.C., have determined that a 21-year-old man was shot and killed. He was discovered dead Thursday morning.
At at 6:50 a.m., officers were called to the 600 block of T Street, Northwest, in response to reports of an unconscious person. When officers arrived, they found a male adult who was unconscious and not breathing.
The deceased was declared dead at the spot despite the efforts of emergency services to save his life. Later, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner declared the occurrence a homicide after concluding that gunshot wounds were the cause of death.
Tavaughn Norde, 21, of Southwest Washington, D.C., was identified as the victim. Information about possible suspects and the case’s motivation has not been made public by the police.
