BALTIMORE, MD — A man was found dead with apparent gunshot wounds early Friday morning in the 3600 block of Hayward Avenue, prompting a homicide investigation by Baltimore police.
Officers from the Northwest District responded to the scene at approximately 6:46 a.m. after receiving a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, who was pronounced dead at the location by medics.
The man’s identity has not yet been released as police work to notify next of kin and gather information about the circumstances of the shooting.
