BALTIMORE According to authorities, a 47-year-old man was shot and wounded on New Year’s Day during an attempted armed robbery in Baltimore’s Eastern District.
At around 10:18 p.m., the victim entered a nearby hospital, and Eastern District police officers were alerted to the occurrence. Authorities said the man’s gunshot wound was not life-threatening.
Investigators found that the shooting happened during an attempted robbery of a business location in the 2400 block of Saint Paul Street. There were no immediate details available regarding the incident’s circumstances or the suspect.
