Man stabbed during early morning dispute in the Bronx, suspect sought

New York’s Bronx.Following a verbal altercation in the Bronx early on Sunday, June 15, a 27-year-old male was repeatedly stabbed and taken to the hospital, according to police.

The man was stabbed four times in the abdomen during the assault, which happened in front of 496 East 138th Street at approximately 5:40 a.m. Before police arrived, the suspect left the scene in an unidentified direction.

The victim was taken by Emergency Medical Services to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. According to the police, his condition was assessed as stable.

According to the description, the suspect is a male between the ages of 18 and 25, with a medium complexion, a slender build, and a height of about 5 feet 8 inches. When last seen, he was dressed in black slacks, a black baseball cap, maroon and white sneakers, and a blue hooded sweatshirt.

The inquiry is still underway, and no one has been taken into custody.
